The Grade II listed Sondheim Theatre, sister to the Gielgud Theatre next door and home of Les Miserables since 1985 was next on our list. Opening in 1907 as the Queens Theatre, this install was replacing a system we installed back in 2003.
Having undergone a refurbishment in 2019, this theatre needed a mixture of wired and wireless devices to keep the public areas looking amazing. We installed a main panel away from their busy stage door area, and gave them a repeater panel in this area and another front of house. By introducing wired devices as approximately 60% of the installation we have again significantly reduced the ongoing maintenance costs.
